Responding to a changing business environment, an unprecedented number of law firms have merged recently. We are no exception. In April 2018, our respective law firms combined to create Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, which became one of the nation’s 50 largest law firms. The merger brought together two venerable institutions. Hunton & Williams, founded in Richmond, Va., in 1901, had grown to 19 offices worldwide.
