United Airlines put out an all-hands-on-deck alert this morning.
With rapidly developing Hurricane Harvey now taking dead aim at the eastern Texas coast, the Chicago-based airline began preparing for the worst at its major Houston hub.
The morning of Aug. 25, a United spokesman said all of United’s 480 flights from Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport were still scheduled to depart. However, the Houston Airport System reported 47 cancellations and 46 delays at IAH as of noon Aug. 25.
