Texas Children’s Hospital filed a $9 million building permit with the city for its west Houston campus, one of the final projects in the health care system’s $50 million capital campaign.

The permit is for a new pediatric intensive care unit. The 22-bed space will complete the inpatient buildout in the expansion project.
