Houston’s housing market returned to more normal trends in October after year-over-year comparisons in August and September were skewed by the effects of Hurricane Harvey in 2017. 

The Houston Association of Realtors reports that 6,716 single-family homes were sold in October, up 4.7 percent from a year earlier, and sales of all property types totaled 8,127, up 6 percent.
