Houston City Council approves $18.8M for spaceport’s Phase 1 infrastructure

The Houston Spaceport project at Ellington Airport has funding lined up for its first phase.

Houston City Council approved more than $18.8 million for the project at an Oct. 17 meeting, according to a press release from the Houston Airport System. The money will come from the city’s Airports Improvement Fund, according to a meeting agenda item.
