Houston-based Stage Stores Inc. (NYSE: SSI) is at risk of being delisted from the New York Stock Exchange.

The retailer is no longer in compliance with the continued listing standard requiring companies’ 30-day average closing price to remain above $1 per share, according to a Feb. 1 press release. Stage plans to notify the NYSE of its plan to regain compliance, which must be achieved within six months of notification.
