The fate of an anti-LGBT law in North Carolina is being closely watched in Austin for clues to how a similar battle could play out in Texas.

The City Council in Charlotte, N.C., on Dec. 19 repealed a dormant non-discrimination ordinance protecting lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.
